Citizen Education. What you want is not what "your" government want.

0’Level results: Don’t blame the children - The Standard: Opinion by Nevanji Madanhire  (Frb 2013)

'In spite of high-sounding noises to the contrary, governments don’t want children to pass examinations!'

'Universities work in a similar manner. What government needs hundreds of thousands of unemployed graduates on the streets? Educated people on the street constitute a security threat, but if they have been “given their chance and failed”, they are easier to manage."'

The writer argues that the government plans for the number or percentage of students who will fail the O'Level examinations. What the government want to do and what the people want may not be the same.

The Zimbabwe government is not the only one.
Education is not the only issue.

The divergence of aims apply to unconditional basic income and citizen-ownership income.
